The central feature of this kitchen is the shaker style cabinetry, with lacquered doors in a soft Mohair finish. The slim double frame adds subtle definition, lending a sense of depth and craftsmanship to the design. Above, contrasting wall units in real wood Bergamo Elm veneer introduce texture and warmth, with vertically aligned grooves offering a modern and tactile element.
Design Inspiration & Concept
The concept was built around creating a layered and inviting space that pairs the timeless appeal of shaker cabinetry with bolder and more modern elements. The Mohair doors provide a gentle and neutral base, while the Bergamo Elm introduces depth and natural movement. The inclusion of dark bronze framing and detailing adds richness and definition without overpowering the overall look.
Materials were chosen to complement and contrast, from the soft matt lacquer to the gleaming bronze hardware and the dramatic veining in the quartz worktops. The result is a kitchen that offers calm sophistication, balanced with unexpected texture and tone.
