Terms of Business Ornate Kitchens

1. Introduction
These Terms of Business set out the agreement between Ornate Kitchens & Interiors Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) and our clients (“you”, “your”) for the supply of our kitchen design, supply, and installation services. By requesting a quotation, placing an order, or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Our Services
We provide bespoke kitchen design, supply, and installation services as described in our quotation or proposal. All designs and drawings remain the property of Ornate Kitchens until full payment has been received.
3. Quotations & Orders
- All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are based on the specification and layout discussed at the time of quotation. Any changes to design, materials, or scope may result in revised costs.
- An order is only confirmed once you have approved the final design and paid the required deposit.
4. Deposits & Payments
- A deposit is required to secure your order and schedule production or installation.
- Further stage payments may be due as detailed in your quotation or order confirmation.
- Final payment is due on completion of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Goods remain the property of Ornate Kitchens until full payment has been received.
5. Installation
- We aim to complete installation within the agreed timeframe; however, delays may occur due to supplier availability or unforeseen site conditions.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the site is prepared and accessible for installation on the agreed start date.
- Any additional works (such as plumbing, electrical, or building alterations) not included in the quotation will be charged separately.
6. Product Care & Maintenance
We take pride in supplying high-quality kitchens. To maintain their appearance and performance, please follow any care and maintenance guidance provided by us or the manufacturer.
7. Warranties
- Furniture and fittings are supplied with the manufacturer’s warranty as stated at the time of purchase.
- Appliances are covered by the individual manufacturer’s warranty, which you should register directly with them after installation.
- Our installation workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion unless otherwise stated.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
- Orders for bespoke or made-to-measure products cannot be cancelled or refunded once manufacturing has commenced.
- If you cancel before production begins, any reasonable costs incurred up to that point (including design and administrative costs) will be deducted from your refund.
9. Liability
We are not liable for:
- Delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised alterations after installation.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total price paid for the goods or services in question.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will never sell your data to third parties.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Business are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
