Ornate was founded by three friends - Sam, Oz and Ziggy - after years in the interiors industry. We shared a simple vision: to design and deliver homes that don’t just look beautiful, but feel better to live in.
From initial design through to installation, we handle everything in-house. It’s a personal, collaborative process - and that’s what sets us apart.
Meet the Founders
Sam Payne
With a background in design and project management, Sam brings creativity, structure, and vision to every project. He leads the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring each space is as functional as it is beautiful. Sam’s eye for detail and commitment to timeless design underpin everything Ornate Kitchens creates. From the first client meeting to the final sign-off, he ensures every element meets the company’s high standards for quality, style, and practicality.
Ziggy Daugela
Ziggy’s extensive experience as a kitchen fitter gives him a unique perspective on how great design translates into flawless execution. His focus is on craftsmanship, precision, and ensuring every project runs smoothly on site. Known for his hands-on approach, Ziggy oversees the installation process from start to finish, guaranteeing the exceptional finish Ornate Kitchens is known for. His attention to detail and technical expertise ensure that each kitchen not only looks stunning but performs perfectly for years to come.
Oz Hasan
Oz combines years of hands-on experience with a deep understanding of how to deliver complex projects with efficiency and care. His calm, methodical approach ensures every project stays on schedule and every client feels informed and supported throughout the journey. Oz takes pride in upholding Ornate Kitchens’ reputation for reliability and integrity, overseeing every stage of production and installation to maintain the company’s uncompromising standards.
